Love ‘n Fresh Flowers is a small floral boutique in Philadelphia dedicated to creating fresh designs with locally grown flowers for truly special events, savvy businesses, and bustling farmers markets. 

Buying local has become a mainstream mantra with many folks.  It’s easy to recognize that something just-picked is almost always superior to something that’s been shipped across many borders.  Not to mention, supporting local growers goes a long way to keeping our hometown economy vital and our outdoor spaces “green”.  Flowers are no exception to that rule.  When blooms are just-picked and handled with care by small growers shortly before they reach your hands, they last much longer and brighten a room like only local field-grown flowers can.  

Jennie Love, owner and designer for Love ‘n Fresh, is passionate about using locally grown flowers  in unexpectedly unqiue and elegant arrangments.  Trained both as a grower and floral designer at Longwood Gardens, her designs have been used for special events by Longwood, the Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), and area weddings while her hand-tied bouquets sell like hotcakes at Philadelphia farmers markets.   In addition to growing and designing with local flowers, she loves demonstrating floral design to kids and adults alike.   Visit her quirky gardening blog to see more of how she grows her blooms and for a cut flower portfolio.
